Under Armour is getting ready for the impending release of its Flow Velociti Eiite shoes. The new shoe was worn by 2022 NYC Marathon Winner Sharon Lokedi.
In November 2022, Lokedi won the New York City Marathon by seven seconds with a time of 2:23:23. Commenting on the new shoes, she said, “Expect the flow elite to get you that PB. A Good Running Shoes
“If you want to run well you have to be confident with what you’re wearing. When you’re tired and your legs are shaky, the Flow Elite just gives you the power you need.”
The new shoes are billed to help runners ‘go faster on race day’. They feature a full-length thermoset carbon plate. This is sandwiched between a lightweight PEBAX foam and Supercritical flow base to the shoe, which billed as soft, light and responsive. Other features include: a minimal heel construction, a TPE sockliner made from recycled materials, and a WARP 2.0 upper for foot support.
The shoes will be available to buy from Friday, April 7, at Under Armour UK and Thursday, April 13, at Under Armour US for a recommended retail price of US$250 / £225.
