HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A driver crashed into the Pawfect Cut Grooming Spa in Hallandale Beach.

Somehow no one was injured when the driver, who was a client of the pet grooming salon, stepped on the gas and struck the store on Thursday at 1109 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd. Jelly Footwear

“It was like a bomb exploding; it was very stressful,” said Marita Meza, Pawfect’s owner.

German Rodriguez said he was working at the Pawfect Cut Grooming Spa’s front desk when the car crashed through the glass, hitting the couch and moving the front desk.

“It was very scary, Rodriguez said.

Meza and Rodriguez said Pawfect has only been open for about five months and customers have been trusting them with the safety of their pets, which only suffered a sudden scare.

The driver blamed the crash on a slip because of the flip-flop sandals that she was wearing.
